Tips
- Arrive by 9 AM on weekends – the park closes to new cars when lots are full
- Wiggins Pass dredge (underway as of fall 2026) can close parking lot 4 for stretches of the day. The park has also posted that drinking water is off and restrooms may be temporary. Check the Florida State Parks page the morning you go.
- Bring lunch – no food concessions
- Walk north for fewer people
- Check tide charts for shelling
